Easy Mexican Salsa Chicken Bake

This delicious dish comes together in 5 minutes! Plus, only 4 ingredients! Chicken, salsa, taco seasoning and cheese.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Large Chicken Breasts or 4 small
  • 4 tsp. Taco Seasoning
  • 16 oz. Salsa
  • 1 ½ cups shredded Cheddar/Jack Cheese Blend

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Lightly grease baking dish. (8x10 used here)
  • Sprinkle 1 tsp. taco seasoning on both sides of each chicken breast.
  • Place chicken in baking dish and cover with salsa.
  • Bake (uncovered) for 30 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink inside-165 degrees F
  • Sprinkle cheese over chicken and bake for a few minutes, just enough to melt cheese.
  • Top with chopped green onions or cilantro if desired or both!
